Individual and Couples Therapy Intensives
“The key to lasting love is not just communication, but emotional responsiveness and attachment.” – Sue Johnson
I offer both individual and couples therapy intensives, either in-person from my practice in South Hereford or online, with clients across the UK and further afield.
What are therapy intensives?
Therapy intensives are a concentrated, in-depth way of working that allows for meaningful progress to be made, in a shorter timeframe. Depending on the session length that you choose, intensives can help you achieve the progress of months of traditional therapy in just one or two days. Intensives allow greater flexibility, designed to meet your needs, whether that’s a focused few hours, or a deeper experience over two or three days.
Who are individual and couples therapy intensives for?
Therapy intensives are perfect for individuals or couples who are committed to enhancing their well-being. Tailored to your needs, they provide focused support to help you heal, either individually or as a couple. They’re especially beneficial for those whose schedules make traditional weekly sessions difficult, those waiting for a regular therapy slot to become available, or anyone facing time-bound situations.
Flexibility and cost
Intensives are flexible, ranging from as short as two hours, to 2 to 3 days, and are designed to fit your needs. For individuals, the cost is £95 per 50 minutes. For example, an individual attending a four-hour intensive in one day would cost £380. For couples, the cost is £135 per 50 minutes. For example, a two-day intensive, with six hours of therapy each day, would total £1,620.
Longer intensives usually occur on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Turn your intensive into a retreat?
If you’re travelling from further afield, South Hereford, with its beautiful countryside and many welcoming places to stay, offers the perfect opportunity to turn your intensive into a nourishing mini retreat.
It’s a chance to pause, slow down, and give yourself, or your relationship, focused time, attention, and care, away from the pace of daily life. The landscape here invites you to breathe a little deeper. The surrounding areas are filled with rolling hills, magnificent mountains, rivers, waterfalls, woodland and abundant wildlife, that open up space for reflection and calm.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, there are opportunities for hiking, kayaking, and wild swimming. Plus the area is also home to many complementary therapists offering treatments such as massage, acupuncture, reiki, and yoga, creating a naturally restorative setting for connection and renewal.
