This is the essence of my approach. As a counsellor, psychotherapist and meditation teacher, my aim is to guide people to connect to their own innate health, to discover their true potential and become all that they are capable of being.
Psychosynthesis goes far beyond where many therapies finish. Some approaches emphasise what’s wrong. This can be like giving a person in a hole the tools to dig; they only end up in a bigger hole!
Working together, in a safe and confidential way, I will act as a guide to support you in identifying and understanding where you are, where you want to be and how to get there.
Though the majority of my approach is based in dialogue and the therapeutic relationship itself, I work in a very creative manner. During sessions, I incorporate a plethora of tools including body work, free-drawing, meditation, trauma work, neuroscience, CBT and dream work. This said, you will always be in the driving seat, and I will work sensitively and responsively with you, respecting what you want.
Our work will not be pre-planned, or prescribed, but each session will be tailored to you and what you bring. I am passionate about working in this way. I believe we all have a rich source of innate healing and guidance within. If you follow the prescription of someone else, whilst you may get some positive results, in the long run you will become dependent on that person for your wellbeing, and never tap into your own inner guidance and health. I will support you to embark on an amazing journey, where you learn to trust yourself and to live the life you want.
